On this site I aim to pull together information and ideas for runners who are visiting or plan to visit Ireland’s Wild Atlantic Way. I will organize the information according to the geography, county by county, and by major town along the route. I hope to identify good places to run in or near the major towns and coastline. I will also link to any running events, local running clubs or other useful information in each area. Please feel free to send me this type of information to include.

A word of caution – outdoor running, especially on public roads, especially narrow roads in the West of Ireland can be very dangerous. Please take precautions, be careful, do not run on roads in the dark or in poor lighting,  wear high visibility gear,  please be safe. I cannot take any responsibility for accidents or injuries sustained while doing runs or events listed on this site.
